As children grow, they become stronger and increase the amount of time they can stay active and focused. Our Tiny Tigers program is designed for students ages 5-7. Their next step will be into the youth class, which has much greater demands.
Small children aren't expected to memorize the Student Handbook, or spend hours on end practicing basics. Tiny Tigers introduces martial arts techniques on a simple level and incorporates a few games to stimulate interest, and increase the students' balance and focus.
At the end of every lesson, Bonnie Emery and Echo Kelly set aside a time for a safety lesson which addresses basic knowledge of handeling dangerous elements. These simple lessons are set up as interactive conversations preceded by short stories, and at the end, students are given an activity page to color. Parents are incouraged to help their child with this activity, and add any additional information to the lesson.
